Peter M. Schneiderman is President of Schneiderman & Sherman, P.C. He founded the original law firm in 1973, which was reincorporated in 1995 under its present name. Mr. Schneiderman has continuously represented clients in the mortgage banking industry since 1975 including the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, REO, title, regulatory, licensing and related litigation matters. He is also a founding member of Best Homes Title Agency.
Mr. Schneiderman is a licensed title agent and maintains membership in the Real Property Law and Business Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. The firm is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association. In addition, Mr. Schneiderman lectures on real property issues both locally and nationally.

Michelle C. Ms. Levy received her Bachelor of Arts from the Michigan State University Business School. She obtained her Juris Doctorate in 1992 from the Detroit College of Law and joined the firm thereafter in 1993. Neil R. Sherman is Managing Attorney of Schneiderman & Sherman, P.C. He joined the firm in 2002 focusing his practice in the areas real estate law, and specifically bankruptcy, foreclosure and eviction processes. In 2006, Mr. Sherman became Managing Attorney and currently oversees all aspects of the firm’s operations including, but not limited to, the firm’s foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, REO, title and litigation departments. Mr. Sherman is an active member of the American Legal and Financial Network and is acting Chair for Manufactured Housing Committee. He is also an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Michigan Mortgage Lender’s Association and the State Bar of Michigan. He is also the President of Best Homes Title Agency.
Mr. Sherman is a licensed title agent and regularly speaks on legal issues affecting the lending community. He is a faculty member for Sterling Education Services and regularly lectures on mortgage banking issues.
Mr. Sherman is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He then moved to the United States and attended Michigan State University, Detroit College of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 2001. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of Michigan.

Attorney Tobias J. Lipski manages the firm’s title resolution division and further provides counsel and litigation support for most divisions of Schneiderman & Sherman, P.C. He acquired his law degree and MBA from Wayne State University. He is an experienced title professional who, prior to joining the firm, served as counsel to a title insurance agency, where he closed commercial real estate transactions and large-scale commercial loan assignments, while also assisting with title insurance underwriting and title defect resolution. Mr. Lipski is the firm’s principle client contact for issues concerning the validity, priority, or protection of each client’s real property interest. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association, and is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of Michigan.

Attorney Brett Border manages the firm’s bankruptcy department. He acquired his law degree from Thomas Cooley Law School and his undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University. He has practiced bankruptcy law almost exclusively for six years, and has extensive experience representing both debtors and the Chapter 13 Trustee in the Eastern District of Michigan. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Border represented hundreds of debtors in Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 matters, specializing in all aspects of representation under the Bankruptcy Code. Mr.Border is the firm’s principle client contact for bankruptcy issues. He also actively advises other departments of the firm on the legal effects and consequences of bankruptcy related issues. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, and is admitted to practice law in the state of Michigan, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern Division of Michigan, United States District Court for the Western Division of Michigan and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Andrew Hubbs joined the firm in 2008 and is currently the managing attorney for the firm’s litigation group. Mr. Hubbs works closely with each department of the firm to insure that any matter subject to contest or dispute is promptly and expeditiously handled in the best interests of our clients. Mr. Hubbs is involved in matters ranging from statutory and regulatory compliance to title resolution to asset recovery. Mr. Hubbs received his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University and has completed LLM coursework in securities regulation, futures regulation and investment banking at Chicago-Kent College of Law. He has been admitted to practice in all state and federal courts within the State of Michigan since 2001. Mr. Hubbs is also licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Illinois since 2000. Mr. Hubbs specializes iareas of creditor's rights, commercial litigation and civil litigation and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association. Dennis J. Dlugokinski, who has an "of counsel" relationship with the firm, is a commercial litigator and trial lawyer, who handles real estate and other commercial and complex business litigation. Mr. Dlugokinski is an AV rated attorney, who obtained his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Michigan Law School, cum laude, in 1978. He obtained his B.A. degree, with distinction, from Wayne State University, in 1971. Mr. Dlugokinski has practiced law for more than 27 years, and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and its Real Estate and General Business Sections.
